Hotel

Le Bouveret is a lakeside village close to the French border. This charming Valaisan village is situated at the mouth of the Rhone where it feeds into Lake Geneva. Le Bouveret is a haven for water sports and
trail running on Le Grammont.

Participants and guest will stay in the exclusive César Ritz Colleges Switzerland in Le Bouveret, minutes away from the French border, with breathtaking views of the Swiss Riviera and alpine foothills.

The campus is normally not open for public use, however, we have been given the exclusive use of the facilities to host our Maritime Mountain Race event. The former hotel will host Friday’s Welcome Reception, Saturday’s gala Dinner as well as the start and finish points for the race.

Founded by Monsieur César Ritz of The Ritz hotel. The campus is nestled on the stunning shores of the beautiful Lake Geneva in a magnificent former hotel dating back to the early 1900s and it is regarded as Switzerland’s best culinary business school and one of the world’s finest. So we will be well catered for!

Drawing from nearly 40 years of experience and the pioneering ethos of César Ritz, the school offers some of the most prestigious programs in hospitality and business management in the world. Focusing on fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and leadership, in an inclusive learning environment.

Guests of the event will be served and cooked for by students who are taught by world-class instructors who have worked in Michelin starred hotels and restaurants and have cooked for royalty.

Facilities

Lake – If you feel like going for a refreshing cold morning dip in the lake, don’t forget to pack your swimwear as the lake is accessible within a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

The Mosimann Collection Museum – This museum is located on campus and will have organised tours to view the collection of Anton Mosiman. Famous around the world for his culinary expertise, his passion for perfection and his signature style of cuisine naturelle. He has led the culinary teams serving five British Prime Ministers, from Margaret Thatcher to David Cameron, as well as four generations of the British Royal Family.

You will also find a natural pool, football field, fitness centre, table tennis and table football at the hotel.
